Could someone tell me what the minimum thickness that a K100RT front rotors have when they then require replacing?

Thanks.

Morning Paul

I don't have my K-100 manual handy (it is in paper form & I am not near my shop)

But, most old K bike brake rotors are marked with MIN thickness right on the brake rotor.

Thank you Dirt Rider! Mine are 4.25 and 4.18 mm.

Donyou have any idea as to what thickness they are when new?

Is your K100RT with or without ABS?

Unfortunately, it did not leave the factory with ABS.

It doesn't seem to matter as my old K bike manual only lists minimum thickness not new or maximum thickness.

Possibly an aftermarket manual like a Clymer would list as new thickness.

Only curious as my bike has about 284,000 km and I was surprised the rotors are still above the minimum thickness at that mileage. Thought original rotors must have been rather thick.

Cheers!

New 5.0

Wow!

With my front rotors at 4.5 after 284,000 km they have held up well. 👍
