It should be an informative day with lots of time for questions and explanations, PLUS handouts!

Look forward to seeing you.

To help with the headcount, I'm pressuring a friend to come with me but I'm not sure if he'll give in or not. Especially since I haven't mentioned the start time to him! (and its 2 hours from my house and he's 45 minutes away from my place!)

No problem Jim, I'm bringing about 25 pounds of pulled pork for lunch, that should be enough for some extra folks...if not, we can get some sandwiches from someplace.

Thanks for the heads up.

There will be a FREE 1 ounce bottle of Brake Caliper Piston Lubricant to the first 36 folks that sign up and attend these events.

That's probably enough for 5 or 6 "deep cleaning" services as will be demonstrated at these TechDays.

Great!

I have you added to the list.

We're up to about 25 folks now.

There is still plenty of room and plenty to eat!

What a great turnout in Indy as Boxflyer led 20 some group of enthusiastic riders wanting to learn about wethead maintenance. Thanks Brad for your commitment and for demonstrating through and proper maintenance and repair techniques.

Just spent a few hours with Don (host garage), Brad and Dave.  I don't know two less self-serving members of our community.  They give weeks of their time and likely lot of money to help us maintain our rides and actually fix them for us.  Today, Dave adjusted my valves and Brad helped shoehorn the engine guards back onto the bike.

Thanks, guys.  This would be a much lesser place without you.  But, before closing, they are part of the BRB crew that plans and executes our Unrally and ARTs.

If you've ever wondered why Brad wanders about the parked motorcycles at the Unrally and ARTs checking paralever boots, here's why.  While doing brake maintenance on this 1200GS and inspecting the boot, Brad found a hole in the boot, likely caused by the U-joint rubbing against it.  While the splines were still well lubed (Brad had changed out the boot and lubed the splines some months before), this photo shows water in the tube.

While at the UN in WVA, Brad found the boot tabs had separated on my GS and changed out the boot and lubed the splines.  Check yours lately?
