wbw6cos
Welcome to the forum. Be sure to post some photos of that bike, when you can. Where are you located? Quite a few gatherings coming up; might be one in your neck of the woods. or not - depending on your ride. Link to comment

Lowndes
Hey, SneEk!! Welcome to the fracus here!! We have a saying, "Without pictures, it didn't happen." That's another way of saying, "We like pics." The R1150RS is a svelt warhorse, a really nice machine, beautiful to look at, extremely functional in intended purpose, and well engineered. But like all things they have their own little ideosyncrasies and foibles. There are a number of members here that have serious experience and are very gracious with guidance sorting things out or just answering questions you have. So, what "extras" came with it, how many miles on it?? Link to comment

SDCRJohn
SnEeK, Congrats, and welcome. I’ve had a 2000 R1100RS since new. It’s been a very nice sort touring machine. Mine has the regular ABS, which so far has been trouble free. The oil head machines are well engineered bikes, and with regular maintenance, hold up well. Mine just turned 92,000 miles. 1 Link to comment
