DDG is offering an approach to email privacy.  It's explained here.

 

Download DDG for IOS or Android.  Get on the wait list for a code.  Sign up.

 

Essentially, you choose a duck.com email addy, say, "rider@duck.com" then indicate the forwarding address for all mail to the DDG addy.  All mail sent to the DDG addy is scrubbed of trackers before it gets to your regular email addy.  I use it for every new subscription or service requiring an email and I'm changing my email address in existing financial, streaming, misc accounts.

FYI that Apple offers this, use it often because I got tired of seeing all the emails landing in my junk folder.  Nice to see I’m winning so many contests based solely on “you’ve been selected….” but think I’ll pass.
