Wbw6cos and I just may drive 1800 miles to get there ourselves and we're only 200 miles away (we've done it before).  It can be done.  Just leave a little early.

I’ll be bringing my friend Hal Salem.  He just bought a 22 GSA.

“I used to be medium stupid but then I got old and even that went to hell.”  Now that’s funny!  😳🤣

You are welcome to bring your friend/s. No problem, the more the better.

Think several of us from the Augusta (Central Savannah River Area CSRA) are planning on meeting you all in Metter.   It is only about 100 miles.   We have an informal CSRA BMW Riders Group that get together for rides when we can.

Just a quick update.
The weather is playing nice this weekend and we may have a good turnout for this lunch.

I called the restaurant yesterday to give them a warning, and they will setup a separate area for us under the BMWST name by 11:30 am. Just in case I am running late. 😂

But don’t worry it’s a big place and besides the great buffet, they also have a menu. So if you have been on the fence about joining us, let’s go!

It will be nice to reconnect with old friends and meet new friends.

Safe travels all and heads up!

Looks like the CADS contingent showed up, Nick's been trying pretty hard to wear out his 1290 tires so he can get some knobbies. We were telling Bernie stories at the meeting this week so they know what to expect : )

Thank you all for braving the elements and the sunshine. A great turnout and lots of new faces and of course bikes from GA, AL, SC and FL. Good day for a ride, nice roads and surprisingly little dirt and mud on the roads, after yesterday’s storms.

Nick finally was able to use third gear on his KTM. He was very excited with this. But he will have to attend a few more rides to wear out his tires.

Yes you did.  It was my 95 R100RT.  Last year for the airhead and they only made 370ish of them.

Thank you for bringing out the original RT to the lunch. A great looking sample.

I hope you and your friends can join us for some future events.

Great day for a ride (of course, what day isn't?) and we only lost Lowndes once and made a few u-turns; we thought we were on right side of the tracks, but the road ended where we were supposed  to cross, hence one of the u-turns.  The locals got a chuckle out of that one.

It was good seeing a fair amount of attendees at this one.    Hope to see another fine crowd at the next one.
