narcosis
I've tried several home grown solutions for a sun shade and wasn't happy with any. I like the looks of this...a lot. Thanks! Link to comment
Motor32
Here's the new link on Amazon, as the old one listed is for a 10 inch screen. Steve https://www.amazon.com/Monitor-Sunshade-Compatible-Tablets-Controller/dp/B07XNM6VN4/ref=pd_lpo_1?pd_rd_i=B076Q6DVP9&th=1 Link to comment
narcosis
Is there any issue with the Nav V maintaining a good electrical connection? The reason I ask is because at 1:16 in the video it shows the straps from the sun shield on the back side of the Nav V. It seems like this might want to push the Nav V out away from the connection, although at the end of the video it does sound like it snaps solidly into place. Link to comment

No, it seems like a good connection and I've haven't had any issues with it. Steve Link to comment
Randyjaco
Nice job with the shade. One thing I found out after going with the Garmin Zumo XT was that it was so bright that a sun shade is no longer necessary Link to comment
BobW03
Just found another option for a sunshade as I found an old version from this company in the back of a drawer. https://glarestomper.com/product-category/gpsvisors/ I wanted to be able to use what Motor32 has shown and even bought it. But my bike came with a wunderlich lock for the NAV5 and I cant use the sunscreen with the lock. Link to comment

I checked out the product and it is a good one, but I also found another option that might be worth considering I'd like to see it. Steve Link to comment
92Merc
I have the GlareStomper on both my GPS and the wife's RT. They are soft sided. But fold down nicely and pack away in the BMW case. I'm happy with them. https://glarestomper.com/322 Link to comment
