Steve1962
.but sunny , so with the permission of the boss [ SWMBO ] , I went out on the bike ........ I parked up , mesmerised by the swaying field ......... The Panzer ........... The view behind ........... Two miles down the road , I paused again ......... The light is nice here ............ Peering skyward ........... You can see here , how the wind is blowing the leaves on the trees , a nice contrast in colours ......... I wonder where this goes ............. .....the answer is .............Taynton ........ The flag on the church , fluttering in the breeze ....... A pause for reflection ......... Looking through the trees ........ The water shining in the evening sun ........ Blossom trees line the country lanes ....... Heading towards Burford , here you can see the church in the distance ..... On the way home , I was just thinking this is typical deer country ......... I spotted this one , and got off the bike ........ Then it spotted me .......... and off it went , melting away into the protection of the woods ........ A nice way to round off another ride in the country ........ Steve Link to comment
Boffin
Stunning phots Steve. The way you captured the rippling of the wind in that cornfield is superb. It is no wonder that the motorcycle press are stalking you to fill their pages. Andy Link to comment
Steve1962
Andy, I have you to thank for my enthusiasm with the camera , not to mention the guidance and advice you have given to me on how best to make use of it . The whole field just rippled .....it was amazing to see , I just tried to capture some of the effect . Steve Link to comment

pipenslippers
Steve, Lovely photos. I love the reflections stuff. I travel around the world a bit with my job, mainly Asia & Scandinavia. I see some beautiful and historic places but at the end of the day there is NOTHING to compare with the UK. Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England are all so different but all so beautiful. I love the fact that if you travel 20 miles in any direction from any start point (except London, which doesn't count anyway) you will find stunning places, roads, historical buildings etc. There is no place like home. Keep up the phototours. I hope to start adding my own in the future. Cheers, Brian Link to comment
Francois_Dumas
Nice series Steve.... < he said , grumblingly typing on his laptop while angrily eyeing his stricken PC >. I especially like the red phone booths in the country side..... so very typical English !! Glad THIS deer was wiser than quite a few pheasants..... and going the other way ! Francois Link to comment
