Clutch Lever return spring - Oilhead

There are a pair of tiny springs fitted into clutch (hydraulic) lever that appear to push lever back to fully extended.  Probably for anti rattle.  They are likely to fall on floor and disappear if you remove the lever.

Not in parts system that I can find ... anybody know more about finding replacements?

Morning lkchris

Are you referring to the springs that keep the lever position adjuster tight ?

I can't help you with something like part numbers but I typically find the smaller springs that I need for like projects in the Wolff gun spring general small spring kit (basically a bag of miscellaneous small gun springs).  I always have a bag of smaller Wolff springs hanging on my shop wall.   If you know the approximate spring size give Wolff a call 1-800-545-0077 to see if they have a bag of springs in those sizes.

Secondly, this seems to happen a lot in my life (I need a small spring or springs that are missing, or I need a small spring for specific repair, or need a spring for a specific project).   I never throw anything out (ie) coffee maker, printer, household device, any small appliance, broken switches, or the like without tearing it apart & saving the small springs inside  (old printers are a treasure trove for small springs of various sizes).

If you are close to a local (real)  gun shop take your lever with you & visit that gun shop, they usually a have a drawer full of miscellaneous small springs.

Thanks for ideas, D.R.  Yes, it's the pair that do that and I assumed kept a loose lever from rattling too.  They are a little smaller diameter than ball point pen springs, but gun store idea is a good tip.
