starter issues

i recently bought a 98 K1200 s i left the ignition in the parking lights mode , so next am the battery is dead so i try to start it thinking just maybe it will bump it enough...... well on the 3rd attempt the batt was dead and now i tried 2jump it and when i put power 2 it , it turns the starter over and is stuck on have u ever heard of this problem and how can i fix it

Probably your starter relay has welded contacts,  starting with low battery volts will cause that.

So, have you changed out that relay?
