DaleP
Smelled, then located a fuel tank leak. This is left side near the air intake snorkel. Is there a repair, or am I on the hunt for another tank? Link to comment
Skywagon
Google plastic welder kit. I’ve seen this done on a lawn tool and it worked. JB Weld also makes an epoxy specifically for this The real question is how did that hole get there. What caused it needs to be corrected or it will happen again Personally I would search for a tank that is known good. The thought of it springing a leak again on a hot engine doesn’t sound fun Some of the engineers here will weigh in shortly. I’m not Link to comment
DaleP
The leak is from the fitting insert. Used a rubber washer and screwed in the radio box. I'll check on it tonight... Link to comment
WRP
Had the same issue ~4 yrs ago! Extracted the 'insert' (really an acorn nut imbedded in the plastic),applied seal all, no further problem. ymmv. 1 Link to comment
