Jerry_75_Guy
Well, I'm tired of riding the VFR sans V1, but I need (want) the advantage of the aural warnings, and will need an intercom for that. I have the Autocom Pro M1 on the RT, and as a result I have the 5 pin headsets. I haven't found any used Pro M1's anywhere (my first choice), so that leaves me with the new '7 pin' Autocom line. To the electrical cognoscente of the group; is it possible to fabricate an adapter plug to connect a 5 pin series Autocom headset to a 7 pin intercom? I looked on the Autcom site, but didn't find such a device. Link to comment
johnlt
I believe it you call them at Top Gear (Autocom importer), they will be able to sell you the adapter. Link to comment

Would be easy to make a cable that hooked the V1's audio into your autocom headset. Skip the $$$ for the box. IF you want the mixing functions and the intercom, then you need the ProM1 or whatever. Jerry_75_Guy
You are correct Steve; I gave a rather 'short hand' response. I don't expect to have pax very often on the bike, but I would like to have the ability to talk with them if I desire, and the ability to use bike to bike, radar, and my iPod simultaniously would meet all of my needs for the bike. So...although there are certainly 'lesser' fixes, an intercom would (again, preferably used) would be the best option....I think. Link to comment
