Clutch lever switch or side stand

Stopped to fill up for gas and out of nowhere my bike will not start; In first clutch lever pulled with side stand up.

It will start in Neutral.

Engine will shut off if you deploy side stand engine running in first with clutch pulled.

Yes I can hear the micro switches clicking as I pull the clutch lever.

Faulty clutch lever switch?

It does sound like a clutch lever switch issue (bad switch or bent lever reed), with trans in neutral the clutch switch or side strand switch isn't  needed to start. 

 

If your motorcycle has cruise control then it has a dual clutch switch so the cruise switch part could be what you hear clicking.
