Afternoon poodad Just because the BMW parts book lists it doesn't mean that BMW didn't make a running change & eliminate it during production, or their supplier couldn't deliver on time for production, or possibly it was produced without the magnetic drain plug & BMW now only services the magnetic plug as a replacement. Or possibly some dealer tec dropped it or damaged it then just grabbed as standard plug from stock to replace the lost or damaged one. Link to comment
