Any value to used ESA shocks?

I have a set of front and rear ESA shocks that came with my bike, they were replaced with a Tractive setup. 

 

As I've never had them installed, I don't know if they work properly or not. 

 

I'd like to sell them, but I know I wouldn't buy a shock in an unknown state, thus I'm not sure they are worth anything.

 

Sell em, or trash em?

You might try Ted Porter's Beemershop.com        I don't know if there is any salvage value..... maybe the rear preload module as I know it is re used during suspension upgrades. Worth a phone call.

I wouldn't trash them. The preload adjuster blew out in my camhead and BMW only sells it with the shock. There is definitely some value in used esa shocks.

When the front started bleeding on my 06, I had to source one from ebay,.....I wouldn't trash them, I'd sell them.  Somebody, like I was, may be in need.

I would have bought them last year.   Took a long time to find a used pair, still using them.  My original rear shock developed a leak.
