opposed Posted May 20, 2006 Share Posted May 20, 2006 Does anyone here know for sure whether or not a 2004 1150rt final drive assy will interchange with one out of an earlier 2000 1100rt? I have the 2000 and the diff is starting to get noisier than I like. I can get the 04 with low miles pretty cheap. Thanks in advance, Steve Link to comment

ShovelStrokeEd Posted May 20, 2006 Share Posted May 20, 2006 Max BMW lists the same part number as fitting both motorcycles so long as you have the 2.91 ratio. On your bike, there was an optional 2.82 ratio available but, the difference in gearing is so minor that you would hardly notice. Link to comment
