trip to French Alpes 2021

Okay, 

 

After returning home yesterday from my trip to the French Alpes I thought I'd post some pics to share it with all of you.

On saterday august 28th I went from Holland to some small village under the lake Geneva (by car, bike on a trailer)

from sunday august 29th till saterday september 4th I drove through the French Alpes to Cannes and also hit a little part of Italy and Switzerland, covering  about 2500 km's.

A little summary of passes I crossed and things I saw:  Col de la Colombiere, Col du Telegraph, Col du Galibier, Lac de Roselend, Col de la Croix de Fer and many, many small Col's  and narrow twisty roads.

My R1100RS never missed a beat and ran flawless.

Awesome, great pics!  I probably sound like a broken record here  but, the RSL was the first BMW to ever captured my Motorrad attention. It’s been on ever since.
