So Cal to Fall Torrey Ride!

The usual suspects are gonna get together and head for Fall Torrey.

Leaving Thursday 23rd for first night in Mesquite, cheap rooms and bar at the Virgin River Hotel and Casino

Friday, head for Torrey ( and hopefully meet up with our local native guide again)

Sunday back to Mesquite casino

Monday head home

Come on out, always an adventure!

Midwestern contingent (two of us) leaving on the 22nd from Tulsa, OK to arrive on the evening of the 23rd.

I'm planning to take Angeles Crest Hwy out to Interstate 15 from La Canada. (Barring any fires shutting it down again...) Might even stop in Wrightwood for breakfast.

Any thoughts on when and where to meet for the ride out?

My reservation at the Chuck Wagon is for Thursday to Sunday so I'll miss the ride up. If anyone happens to be near St. George early Thursday morning I'm planning on seeing Bryce on the way up....

No, too far west from our route.  We’ll be pushing 500+ miles per day to get to Torrey on the evening of the 23rd.  Enjoy...

Ex Californian will be making the 4-hour ride from CO (or maybe 7 hours if we decide to take the FUN way), arriving on the 23rd.  Will be bringing with me an ex-Harley Factory dirt tracker and roadracer from the Dick O'Brien era, and the guy who filmed the helmet-cam footage of how rough it is on the Daytona banking, for the film On Any Sunday (same guy, a former co-worker and now a fellow neighbor and retiree).
