Greetings from South GA!

Long time member here, but not active for some time...long story...talk soon!

So I'm in need of valve covers (both left and right) for my 2014 R1200RT.  Knocked over in a parking lot...another story:-(  I don't have a BMW dealer near me at the moment so it's online for sources.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Stve

If you can't find the parts stateside, I recommend these folks.  Ordering is easy.  Bought a 2005 GS drive shaft some years ago at very steep discount to new, $300 vs. $1200 as I recall.

Fastest way to find if in stock is to search on BMW part #.

Used: Beemerboneyard.com    10% off with code BMWST   Availability varies.

           Ebay

New: several BMW dealers sell online, prices are usually list.  Maxbmw.com is one, asccycles.com is another.

Minor scuffs and scrapes can easily be filled with JB Weld epoxy, sanded smooth, then repainted.

As a note, these are from China.

I’m pretty sure they still use the finest cheddar available in the manufacturing process. :dontknow: :classic_biggrin: Didn’t see that, now depending on the price of OEM, I might take the chance.

I bought a transmission from rubbersideup and a driveshaft.  Quick shipping and 'zactly as described.
