Electronic speed shifter

Hello,

A friend of mine got in to a very nasty accident and lost his left leg. 

After 20+ surgeries he is ready to ride again.He is with artificial leg so can keep balance but not changing gears.

Bike is K1600, I believe early 2000.

Trying to help him to get back on the bike so the question is do you know a company that sells kits like the one below (unfortunately their products are not BMW companionable).

Any help will be highly appreciated.
