Wilber shock preload setting?

Hello boys and girls, I am embarrassed to say that I had a pillon on my RT with new Wilbers on it for the first time, and didn't know which way to turn the preload setting. Anybody out there that could help? What are the markings set for? That is, how many pounds per notch? Up or down for more weight?

Standing on the preload side, turn the knob to the right, which will make the preload adjustment go down toward the zero, depending on combined weights, really crank it down.

To add preload tighten clockwise as seen from the top. if you look on the side body of the adjustment you should see plusses and minus. these markings may be facing forward.
