FS 2003 R 1150 RT...

Greetings!

 

I am selling my 2003 R 1150 RT. The bike has about 78,500 miles on the clock.

 

During the winter of 2019-2020, I replaced the starter and clutch (picture of splines below) just as preventative maintenance. I also had the heads refreshed by the machine shop at MAX BMW. Four, I believe, valve guides were replaced due to being out of spec and all the valve seals were replaced. The heads were off due to replacing leaking head gaskets. The machine shop also refreshed the cross hatch on the cylinders and I replaced the piston rings, again, just a preventative maintenance. I also installed an AF-XIED at that time.

 

The bike has Ohlins suspension front and rear, as well as a Zumo 665 w/XM mounted to a Gadget Guy/Touratech mount above the speedometer and tachometer.

 

The bike runs very nicely. I'm selling the bike because the riding position has become very uncomfortable for me (hip).
