29th Georgia Mountain Rally | May 3rd - 5th | Hiawassee, Georgia
In its 29th year the GMR, hosted by the BMW Motorcycle Club of Georgia, returns to the ever-popular picturesque fairgrounds in Hiawassee, Georgia between Friday May 3rd and Sunday May 5th, 2019.
This area of the Appalachians offers rewarding twisties - including Deal’s Gap, the Cherohala Skyway and the Blue Ridge Parkway - inspiring vistas and renowned mountain hospitality. Plus, it’s dual-sport heaven for all skill levels. Truly the perfect start to anyone’s riding season!
Registration includes lakeside tent camping sites, dinners, breakfasts, hot showers and endless coffee, along with regular rally attractions and major prize draws.
There are improved lots onsite for tents and RVs available, and a wide range of local motel and cabin rental options, for those wanting more refined accommodations.
Register before April 15th to save $15 per person on the normal $70 rate and you’ll also get a free entry into an exclusive Early Bird draw for a winner-take-all Shoei RF-1200 helmet.

0DyAnne and I cordially invite y'all to join us for some great riding and friendship in Eureka Springs, AR. Breaking tradition in that the 2024 Un should have been east of the Mississippi but we would rather think of this as the Un in the Middle! The Ozarks have some great riding opportunities and other activities as well. The hotel, here is a link, has been great to work with and will be a great venue for the Un. Stay tuned for details!

1This year will be the 21th edition of the Cedar Key Lunch/Weekend event, it will be on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:30 AM.
Tim @tallman started this event on the Saturday after the MLK Holiday in 2005, and later @Kinsley assisted with the organizing of this event. I @Bernie, think it is a great event that @tallman and @Kinsley created and it should continue in future.
So dust of your bikes, call your pet sitter, load up your SO and join me (Bernie) and others for lunch at the Gulf Coast.
PS: if you and your friends think you can make it , leave me a post here, so I can warn the restaurant about the invasion.
After excessive research by @Calvin (no socks) located a restaurant, that has proven itself worth another visit.
By the way, back in 2005 this place was called Frog Landing and the original place for lunch.
